If you wear foundation, apply evenly onto your face with a cosmetic sponge. A sheer application works well for daytime, whereas at night you may apply a bit more.
If you have any areas like dark under-eye circles, blemishes, red spots, or broken capillaries, concealer will do the job. It is easiest if you apply this with a fine brush to the area that you wish to conceal and then blend with your fingertips.
Loose powder is better to set your foundation because the finish is lighter. Apply it lightly with a large powder brush for a sheer finish, a puff or sponge for a heavier finish. Remember to dust a little under your eyes to set your concealer (helps prevent creasing).
For a quick and easy eye makeup, sweep a single wash of color over the entire eye in a neutral tone. Don't forget your brows. Apply your liner, then mascara.
Lipsticks as well should be of the same color family as the rest of the face. Line your lips, and apply a quick coat of Sacha's Vitamin E Stick. Fill in with your lip color of choice. Gloss is optional.
To determine the intensity of your blush, take your cue from the rest of your face. During the day you should go for a light sweep of color. At night you may add a bit more color or glitz with light dusting of Sacha's Satin Powders.
After completing the last step, lightly spray Sacha's Fix It Spray over the entire face to set your makeup and make it longer wearing.
Clean your brushes as often as possible and they will last forever. Spray alcohol on a sheet of paper towel and sweep your brushes lightly over it. For brushes made with natural hair, it is recommended that you shampoo and condition them once a week.

Eyes constitute an important part in the body. They are important in more ways than one. Eyes express what words fail to convey. Women want their eyes to be appealing and they have been using make up to accentuate the beauty of their eyes. It has been an age old practice. Here are some tips for eye makeup.
Before applying eye makeup, it is recommended that you use a concealer to screen the dark circles and wrinkles around your eyes. Ensure that the shade of the concealer is a bit lighter than your natural skin tone. Do not use it in excessive amounts. Apply the eye shadow in many thin layers.
Eye shadows are meant to highlight the beauty of the eyes. They are used to create depth to the eyes. If you use dark colors, your eyes may look smaller, while a lighter color will make them appear larger. If possible, use an eye brush to brush the shadow up. To highlight the eyes, add a lighter shade of the same color as the eye make up to your brow bone.
Too much of a shadow or liner will also make the eyes look smaller. While using a lighter color on the eyelid, use a darker color in the crease and a highlighter under the brow. This helps in creating illusions with eye shadows. If the eyes are small, don't use too much shadow or liner ? it will make your eyes look even smaller.
For large eyes, wear darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease. Use a flat color to highlight under the brow. If the eyes are deep-set, use light colors under the skin and the brow and a medium color under the crease. Accentuate the outer corners of the eye with shadow. For wide-set eyes, use darker colors on the inner corners with shadow.
Take an eyeliner pencil and outline the top and bottom of your eyelids. Instead of a straight line, make short, small sized close dots with the eyeliner. Smudge the dots or the line lightly from the inner corners to the outer corners, for softer line. For the eyelashes, first use the eyelash separator comb. Then apply thin mascara. If you don't have many lashes, apply the mascara individually and re-comb your lashes. Allow the lashes to dry and repeat the process.
Remove the eye makeup with a cotton ball or swab soaked in makeup remover. Otherwise, you may use makeup remover pads, which are also good. Be gentle and don't rush. Be careful especially while removing mascara. You can gently rub the underside of the lashes until they come off completely.
Useful eye makeup tips:
* If your eyes are set too close to each other, put a dark shade like triangle acroos outer corners of the upper eyelid.
* If your eyes are placed too wide apart, add a blend of eye shadow across the inner halves of the upper eye lid towards the brow line. Add a slanting shadow on outer corners of the lower eyelid.
* Take a piece of cotton wool, dip it in solution of witch-hazel and use it as eye pads.
* To give a fresh look to your eyes, use a ball of cotton wool immersed in milk on top of your eyes each time you go to bed at night for 2-5 minutes.

Begin by brushing brows with a brow brush. To measure your brows, hold a pencil vertically along the outer corner of your nose to the inner brow. If your brow line overlaps onto the bridge, remove the excess hair. If the brow falls short, pencil it in. To find where your brow should taper or end, hold the pencil from the outer corner of the nose across the corner of the eye to the outer brow.
The brow should end at this point. Brows can be filled in to alter or emphasize. Brow pencils or brow powders can be used.
TIP: Always use a brow color that is as natural looking as possible. The main objective is to define not create over-powering brows. To fill in, comb first, then use feather like strokes with your pencil to fill in. To create a more natural look, comb again after applying the pencil.
TIP: When using a brow definer or brush on brow, the same method is used. Comb, apply with a brush and then comb again. Sacha's Dark Brown Single Eyeshadow is excellent for darker brows.
TIP: When using powdered brow color, use a harder bristled angle brow brush and draw tiny hair-like strokes. When using a brow pencil, maintain a sharp edge and use the same technique as the brush. You may use a disposable mascara wand to soften. The trick is comb, apply, comb.
TIP: If your brows are low or close to the eyes, bleaching them can "open up" the face.

TIP: If you are over 40 we advise that you should avoid wearing matte lipsticks. You will look best with a little shine on your lips. Always use a lip liner since it builds a dam that keeps the lipstick from "bleeding".
TIP: To remove lipstick from clothing, apply glycerine on the spot, rub lightly and wash as normal.

A beautiful woman is not just a woman who has a comely face and a shapely body. She must be a person whose soul glows with an inner light, who has depth in mind, and who is clean from head to foot.
You may not think much of it, but once someone takes more than a passing glance at you, most likely he or she will look at you from head to foot. So it is important for you to take care of yourself and to look immaculate from your hair down to your toes.
Speaking of feet and toes, the heat of summer may have reduced you to wearing flip-flops and open-toed shoes most of the time to make the heat bearable. More than likely, the skin and soles of your feet have hardened due to constant exposure. How ironic it is that the one way to make your feet feel comfortable in the summer heat is also a way that will make your feet dirty and unsightly!
But there are ways of keeping your feet nice, soft and pretty, without having to spend so much on foot spas and salon pedicures. It is only a matter of good grooming, of keeping your feet clean and moisturized on a day-to-day basis.
When you take a shower, rub the hardened skin of your soles, as well as the calluses of your feet, with a pumice stone. Yes, you read that right, a pumice stone. Pumice stones are more effective at exfoliating skin than those fancy foot scrubs available at the market. Just remember to wait till your feet are softened by the water before you ?stone? it.
After you have gleefully rubbed the hard spots off your feet, follow it up with a good foot cream or moisturizer. Dry your feet thoroughly and then apply a generous amount of moisturizer on them. Do this before you go to bed and sleep with your feet encased in socks. You will have soft and smooth feet when you wake up.
Lastly, keep your toenails well-groomed. This means clipping your toenails regularly, never letting them grow too long, removing the cuticles and painting them. Nothing is more unsightly than toenails that are long, have chipped paint and are dirty-looking. If you cannot give yourself a pedicure, make it a point to visit a nail salon every two weeks or so. If you are one of those women who do not like putting nail polish on, then make it a point to buff your toenails with a nail brush.
Since we are on the subject of foot care, do not hesitate to indulge yourself in a good foot massage every now and then, maybe once or twice a month. Not only is a good foot massage very relaxing, Oriental alternative medicine has it that reflexology ? massage that applies pressure to certain parts of the hands and feet ? do wonders to your overall health.
A beautiful woman glows inside and out, and is clean and well-groomed from head to foot. Always keep your feet healthy, happy and beautiful.
